Rose Teacup Cottage
My son, Finn, gifted me a set of teacups he won in a raffle which is where this started. We had the sweetest smelling pink roses grow up on our backyard fence this year that my husband and son both said I was “obsessed” with (I did make every visitor this spring smell them). Figuring out a way to make that many tiny roses was the most challenging but ended up using clay to get the desired organic shapes I wanted.
From there I was inspired by a friend and their magical house they are selling in Houston. Not only does it have the MOST beautiful fence covered in roses but she had posted a video about their orange tree, so I thought that would be a fun thing to try and make. My first fruit tree! Living in the Finger Lakes I can’t imagine have a big orange tree in your yard, how amazing.
Complete with a mailbox big enough to fit their new goods and a little robin searching for worms.
